Warjolijn van Midwolde (Rising Aranix x Cornet Obolensky)
Onder Kristian Houwen maakt vader Rising Aranix zijn sterke afkomst waar in de jongepaarden- en hengstencompetities. Zo won de krachtpatser deze zomer voor het tweede jaar op rij de Stal Hendrix-competitie en dit merrieveulen komt uit zijn eerste jaargang. Ze is bovendien gefokt uit de rechtstreekse moederlijn van de Grand Prix-sport- en fokhengst Arezzo VDL. In de derde generatie gaat deze lijn terug op Darjolijn, die niet alleen een halfzus is van de eerder genoemde topvererver Arezzo VDL maar ook nog eens zelf in de internationale sport op 1.40m-niveau geklasseerd is. Dit is tevens de directe moederlijn van drievoudig Derby van Hamburg-winnaar Nacorde van André Thieme en de internationaal succesvolle The Fly van Todd Minikus.

Under Kristian Houwen, sire Rising Aranix is living up to his strong pedigree in the young horse and stallion competitions. This powerhouse won the Stal Hendrix competition this summer for the second year in a row, and this filly comes from his first crop. She is moreover bred from the direct damline of the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Arezzo VDL. In the third generation this line traces back to Darjolijn, who is not only a half-sister of the aforementioned top sire Arezzo VDL but also achieved good results in international classes up to 1.40m level herself. This is also the direct damline of André Thieme's three time Hamburg Derby winner Nacorde and Todd Minikus's internationally successful The Fly.
